Community Code of Conduct

We want safe, respectful and welcoming communities. This Code applies to every community on Cool and complements each owner's specific rules.

This text is a standard template provided by the Cool platform to help communities and creators get started. It reflects the spirit of Brazil's LGPD (Law No. 13,709/2018) and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679), but it does NOT constitute legal advice. Before publishing, review it with a qualified lawyer to tailor it to your business, country and way of operating.

Respect above all

Treat everyone with respect. Debate ideas, don't attack people. Differences of opinion are welcome; insults, contempt and provocations are not.

No harassment, hate or violence

Harassment, bullying, hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or origin is prohibited. Threatening, inciting or glorifying violence against people or groups is prohibited.

No spam or scams

Do not send spam, chain messages, pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick promises or malicious links. Do not impersonate others or staff. Promotion and sales are only allowed when the community owner permits them.

No illegal content

Posting illegal content is prohibited, including child sexual abuse material, incitement to crime, sale of prohibited items, piracy and infringement of third parties' copyright or intellectual property.

Privacy and doxxing

Do not disclose others' personal data (address, phone, documents, intimate photos) without consent. Do not dox or expose private conversations to shame someone.

Adult content

Explicit sexual content is not allowed in public areas or where minors can see it. Communities aimed at adults must clearly label and restrict access as the law requires. Adult content involving minors is a crime and leads to an immediate ban and report to the authorities.

How to report

If you see a violation, use the report button available on posts and profiles, or write to privacidade@cool.app. Reports are handled confidentially. Bad-faith reports are also a violation.

Consequences

Violations may lead to a warning, mute, content removal, suspension or ban, per the Moderation Policy. Serious offenses (child abuse, credible threats, fraud) result in an immediate ban.
