Affiliate Terms

Last updated: 2026-08-09

These are the rules of Cool's affiliate program. By generating your link or receiving your first commission, you accept this document. It supplements the Terms of Service.

Notice: this is a template document

This text is a standard template provided by the Cool platform to help communities and creators get started. It reflects the spirit of Brazil's LGPD (Law No. 13,709/2018) and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679), but it does NOT constitute legal advice. Before publishing, review it with a qualified lawyer to tailor it to your business, country and way of operating.

You are independent

Being an affiliate does not create an employment, partnership, commercial-agency or exclusivity relationship with Cool or with the creator you promote. You act on your own account and are responsible for what you publish.\nYou may not present yourself as an employee, partner or spokesperson of Cool or the creator, nor make commitments on their behalf.

How commission is calculated and attributed

The commission is a percentage set by each community's creator and may vary between communities. The percentage in force at the time of the sale applies.\nAttribution is LAST CLICK: if the buyer passed through more than one link, the commission goes to the last one before purchase. Commission is calculated on the net sale value, after the platform fee, and does not apply to tips.\nSales that did not go through your link generate no commission, even if you influenced the decision.

When commission becomes available

The commission starts in a holding period and is released for withdrawal according to the payment method used by the buyer:\n• Pix and bank slip: 7 days\n• Credit card: 30 days\nThe affiliate window is longer than the creator's on purpose: it is the window in which most fraud and refund requests appear. Once released, a Pix withdrawal usually arrives within minutes, on business days and within banking system hours.\nThere is a minimum withdrawal amount, shown in your dashboard.

Self-purchase is prohibited

It is PROHIBITED to buy through your own affiliate link, directly or indirectly — including using another email, another account, a family member's account, or arranging with third parties to simulate sales.\nCommission generated this way is cancelled, even if already released, and the amount is debited from your balance. Repeat offences result in termination of the affiliate account and loss of pending commissions.\nReturning part of the commission to the buyer as a discount or cashback is only allowed if that community's creator authorizes it in writing.

A refund cancels the commission

If the sale is refunded or charged back, the corresponding commission is cancelled automatically. While in holding, it is simply not paid. If already paid, the amount is debited from your balance and offset against subsequent commissions.\nThis applies regardless of the reason for the refund and of whether you were involved in it.

How you may NOT promote

It is prohibited to: send spam by email, WhatsApp, SMS or direct message to people who did not ask to be contacted; advertise using the creator's or Cool's brand as a paid keyword without written authorization; create pages, profiles or ads impersonating the creator or Cool; promise results, earnings or cures the product does not deliver; use fake testimonials; and omit that the link is an affiliate link where the law or the advertising platform requires disclosure.\nYou are responsible for what you publish. A substantiated complaint leads to link suspension and, depending on severity, account termination with loss of pending commissions.

Taxes

The commission is your income. Taxes and ancillary obligations are your responsibility, under the laws of your country and your tax regime.\nCool provides the history of commissions and payouts in your dashboard to support your accounting.

Program termination

The creator may end their community's program, and Cool may end the program as a whole, at any time. Commissions already generated and not cancelled remain due and are paid on the normal schedule.\nYou may leave at any time. Leaving does not cancel the debit of refunded commissions or pending obligations.\nCool may change these terms; material changes are communicated in advance and apply to future sales.
