Before selling, connect a payment method under Integrations → Payments.
What Cool accepts
- Pix — the most used in Brazil, settles instantly.
- Boleto — clears in 1 to 3 business days.
- Card — one-off or in instalments, depending on the gateway.
Where the money lands
Depends on the configured mode:
- Via Cool (default) — Cool receives, holds during the guarantee window and pays out to you. This mode gives you the payout engine, the anti-chargeback reserve and the financial panel.
- Your own gateway — money lands straight in your gateway account. Cool holds nothing and pays out nothing; the flow is yours to control.
With no gateway connected
Checkout doesn't work and the community stays in free mode. Nothing breaks — you just can't charge. The panel warns you on Overview.
Payout key
Even in "via Cool" mode you have to register where to receive: a Pix key or bank details, under Sell → Payouts. Without it the money accumulates and no payout goes out — the panel warns that there's a balance with nowhere to go.
