Creating a course, modules and lessons

From empty structure to a published lesson, and who gets to watch.

The Classroom holds your community's courses. A course has modules, and each module has lessons.

Creating

In the panel, Classroom → New course. You set the title, cover and description, then add modules and, inside them, lessons.

Each lesson takes video, text, attachments and a completion marker that feeds the student's progress.

Published vs draft

Courses and lessons have a published state. A draft lesson doesn't show to students.

Watch out for the in-between: a PUBLISHED course with draft lessons drops the student into a path that dead-ends halfway. The panel warns you — the "What to do now" card counts draft lessons inside already-published courses.

Who watches

Depends on what you configured in pricing:

  • course included in a plan → every member on that plan watches;
  • course sold separately → only whoever bought that course.

Progress

Every student has a progress bar per course, fed by lessons marked complete. You see it on the member's profile in the community CRM.
