Under Talk → Automations.
An automation is a trigger plus a sequence. When the trigger fires, the sequence runs on its own.
Available triggers
- member joined;
- member bought;
- subscription cancelled;
- member went X days without showing up;
- student finished a course.
The sequence
Each step can be an email, a WhatsApp message or a wait ("hold 2 days").
Welcome
It's the automation that matters most and the easiest to forget. Under Talk → Welcome there's a simplified version: a single message, fired when the person joins.
Someone who gets a nod in the first 24 hours is far likelier to post something — and someone who posts once tends to stay.
Careful with pile-up
Three active automations can send three messages to the same person on the same day. Before turning on one more, look at the ones already running.
